La Casa Cotzal

La Casa Cotzal, S.A. is Guatemala’s largest formal handcrafts exporter. They currently employ fourteen people in their Guatemala City office and warehouse and work in nearly every region of the country with individual artisans, family workshops, and artisan cooperatives. During a typical year they employ six hundred to a thousand artisans, including pedal and backstrap loom weavers, embroiderers, crocheters and macramé-ers, glass beaders, sewers, seamstresses and tailors, potters, woodcarvers, carpenters, glass beaders, silversmiths and jade cutters, cobblers, leather belt makers, glass blowers, glass bottle cutters, and basket weavers.
